Smooth Transition (Goliath will Fall)

Proverbs 3:5-6  “Trust in the Lord with all your heart He will make your paths straight

Most of us are not prepared for spiritual success. Seasons of change bring success. Seasons of change can bring murmuring, complaining, whining, confusion enough for us to question in the valley, what we heard on the mountaintop.  We need to be prepared for spiritual, and secular success.

Isaiah says ‘A voice of one is calling out, “Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness [remove the obstacles]; Make straight and smooth in the desert a highway for our God.”‘

The New Testament repeats it again in Mark 1:3 and Matthew 3:3 ‘For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah when he said, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; make his paths straight.’”

Many people think that God’s will is done independent of ours. That if they do nothing and “if it’s God’s will, things will or will not happen, and we should just expect or live with the results”

No my friend. He looks for Christians to usher in, pray in, and to start walking by committing their path and finally by helping to straighten out crooked pathways.

Psalm 5:8 “Lead me, O Lord, in your righteousness because of my enemies; make your way straight before me.”

Hebrews 12:13 “And make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed.”

Proverbs 4:26 “Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure.”

There’s a lot of crooked laws, layers of devilish, sinister red tape that Christian voters need to help unravel. Laws have been put on the books, while Christians slept, busied themselves with other duties or just looked the other way.

In 1 Samuel 17 we read the account of David and Goliath:

38-39 Then Saul outfitted David as a soldier in armor. He put his bronze helmet on his head and belted his sword on him over the armor. David tried to walk but he could hardly budge.

David told Saul, “I can’t even move with all this stuff on me. I’m not used to this.” And he took it all off.

40 Then David took his shepherd’s staff, selected five smooth stones from the brook, and put them in the pocket of his shepherd’s pack, and with his sling in his hand approached Goliath.

41-42 As the Philistine paced back and forth, his shield bearer in front of him, he noticed David. He took one look down on him and sneered—a mere youngster, apple-cheeked and peach-fuzzed.

43 The Philistine ridiculed David. “Am I a dog that you come after me with a stick?” And he cursed him by his gods.

44 “Come on,” said the Philistine. “I’ll make roadkill of you for the buzzards. I’ll turn you into a tasty morsel for the field mice.”

45-47 David answered, “You come at me with sword and spear and battle-ax. I come at you in the name of God-of-the-Angel-Armies, the God of Israel’s troops, whom you curse and mock. This very day God is handing you over to me. I’m about to kill you, cut off your head, and serve up your body and the bodies of your Philistine buddies to the crows and coyotes. The whole earth will know that there’s an extraordinary God in Israel. And everyone gathered here will learn that God doesn’t save by means of sword or spear. The battle belongs to God—he’s handing you to us on a platter!”

Everyone must pick his own weapon. A weapon practiced way before the battle

Yea though I walk through valley of the shadow of death, it is His rod and His staff that comforts me according to Psalm 23. You should feel comfortable with natural weapons and spiritual weapons.  A weapon of war can bring peace. Only someone  that is familiar with their weapon can use it in a moment’s notice even subconsciously if they practice in peace.

We need to be proactive and not reactive, we must adjust our armor before the battle and practice before the battle is even in sight.

Socialism, the new age philosophy, unitarians and communism are knocking at the door and creeping into our society. Liberty to some, the original Constitution of the USA seems to be horrendous to liberals, while some college educated kids are brainwashed by professors that have no moral compass. An odor is in the land, from Goliath, a hideous odor. This election has divine consequences. We can lose freedom fast or gain freedom by leaving crookedness or by engaging. Engagement’s load can be shared by many shoulders, if everyone would pick up their own weapon and fight.

We are preparing for the Kingdom ultimately. Transition of Power on Earth. Our flesh must keep quiet as Gods Glory works through us.

There are odors in hell. Fouls smells reported by people who have had near death experiences. Jesus said “Be of Good Cheer, I overcome the world” and  “Low I am with you always”

He has a way and makes a way, where there is no way, if we start walking.

He is the way-maker. He makes a smooth way. A smooth transition awaits you if you begin to walk by committing your way, your ideas and your plans to Him daily.

We get into routines. We have schedules. We kick against the pricks. Finally God blinded Saul and changed Saul’s name to Paul at his conversion in order to smooth out his path.

Prepare ye today the way of Lord. The devil wants us to fight him in some else’s armor.

God is taking into a spacious place! Psalm 18:19

19 He brought me out into a broad place;
He rescued me because He was pleased with me and delighted in me.

Psalm 18:33 Amplified Bible

33 He makes my feet like [a]hinds’ feet [able to stand firmly and tread safely on paths of testing and trouble];
He sets me [securely] upon my high places.

We pray for swift justice.

You can see by these scriptures, we need to walk and move by faith. As we prayerfully walk in the power of the Holy Ghost and move, committing each decision of each day and we’ll see God direct our paths.
