There’s a song out that is called Waymaker. One of the versus calls God a “Promise Keeper”.
Recently on a Sunday morning we had a special movement of the Sprit at Church. My Pastor’s wife gave a moving testimony. People rushed to the altar and an old missionary, ministry friend of mine came up to me and said “He’s a Promise Keeper”, meaning that Jesus Is, a Promise Keeper for me, to me! After Church I thought : What promises has God not fulfilled or better put, what promises are in my life unfulfilled?
I couldn’t think of any immediately. I began to mediate, thinking more. How about you? Do you have some unrealized dreams, goals, ambitions? How many of these are from you versus birthed in the Spirit? I call them Wishion’s. A wish and vision combined ha!
Frustration can grow in an environment of being double-minded. Frustration can grow when we feel ripped off, forgotten, abandoned etc
How about we all, get on the road called “Calling”. Let’s run towards our calling. Ask God to give you a street sign that says turn here, repent here, see the sign here, hear the “still small voice” of what your calling is. Hear and obey the street sign of the Holy Spirit for adjusting your goals, plans and future and you will see amazing results. What God calls you to do, He provides Grace to do. What he Wills or orders He pays for. On that road, God’s road, your calling road, all frustration is mitigated and a peace comes. No matter what comes up in life, when you get on God’s train tracks a Peace comes in the most difficult of situations and out of a place of Peace and Surrender the “gift of Faith” operates.
Now let’s be real, we will still have tribulation in this world, but the scripture says “To be of Good Cheer I (Jesus) have overcome the world” Luke 2:10 amplified says “Good News of Great Joy”
My wife said that God’s Word is a promise and has promises for us!
This morning in weekly prayer for our Ministry I began praying against
1) Frustrating the promises of God with our Idle words
We have so much power in our voice and words. Floating around in the spirit realm can be binding conversations about others.
2) Self Pronounced curses.
We can be snared by our own tongue and words and those words can be used against us. James 3.
By taking communion on a regular basis you can neutralize idle words and cast them into the “Sea of Forgetfulness”. Micah 7:19
3) Unfilled vows
Never break a Promise to God. It’s better to hold back than to Promise the Holy Sprit and reneg.
Psalm 15:1,4
4) Allowing others to fall or suffer from False Promises or commitments
If you have ever let someone down, made a promise and broken it to someone, you need to get free. If you can make good, resolve the promise – own up to it. Then get that thing thrown into the sea of forgetfulness.
Luke 17:2, Mathew 18:6
Latter in the song “Waymaker” we hear “even when I don’t see it your working, You never stop, you never stop working”.
In Daniel 9:20-23, We read where He started fasting and praying. In the Spirit realm which is the real realm, where news is born and released before it is manifested on earth, Gabriel the archangel was stopped by a demon prince from bringing Daniel’s answer. So Michael the archangel was dispatched from heaven to come beat the devil ambassador prince up and allow Gabriel to bring the Word of the Lord. Immediately Daniel was told “from the first day of your prayer I was sent to you”…..
This shows that even when we don’t realize it, God is working for us….for us…in advance of what we see realized or manifested on earth. In our world, the Holy Spirit wants to brood, yearns, invest, birth results that last and prosper.
James 4:5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”?
I wonder what unfilled promises, breakthrough are waiting for you to allow? Yes we can hold up a promise. We can be in the wrong place at the wrong time or repent, take communion, turn things right side up and be launched into your calling again, afresh. Pray with me…
“Jesus, I give you my future, goals and responsibilities. Correct my path and give me a fresh start towards my destiny so that I am helping You expand the Kingdom of God and being used to deliver souls from hell to heaven Amen!”
