1) Get a Word from God

Gen 26:2-5 The Lord appeared to him and said, “Do not go down to Egypt; stay in the land of which I will tell you. Live temporarily [as a resident] in this land and I will be with you and will bless and favor you, for I will give all these lands to you and to your descendants, and I will stablish and carry out the oath which I swore to Abraham your father. I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of the heavens, and will give to your descendants all these lands; and by your descendants shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because Abraham listened to and obeyed My voice and [consistently] kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.”

What the Lord orders He pays for! Your answer is not looking backward, but foreword unto Heaven, Allow the Bible is to be your ‘restaurant’ and serve your daily spiritual meal. All hope is in Jesus the Word (Jesus) was made flesh, meaning He really did come to Earth, He really did live here and He really was subject to all the daily temptations, things you and I deal with in this crazy world. We must learn to make room for Jesus. Room in our lives and souls for Jesus, doesn’t just happen. It takes an act of our wills and daily decisions, during tough times and experiences or valleys to acquire the Real Estate in our souls for room. Their is a price, it’s called ‘dying to self’.

Your born-again experience gave you His Holy Spirit, yet if one does not activate their Faith by making room on a daily basis in their lives for Jesus, we soon are like spiritual robots, mechanical in faith and just going through the motions. We make room by giving Him the carnal daily decisions to ask the Holy Spirit to replace drugs, sex, rock n roll, (playing Country music backwards, to those that want to get their car back, house back, marriage back ha) alcohol or food as a buffer for pain, loneliness, rebellion and boredom.

(2) When you don’t have enough to meet your need, take what you have and plant a seed.

Gen 26:1 “Now there was a famine in the land [of Canaan], besides the previous famine that had occurred in the days of Abraham. So Isaac went….”

Gen 26:12″Then Isaac planted [seed] in that land [as a farmer] and reaped in the same year a hundred times [as much as he had planted], and the Lord blessed and favored him. 13And the man [Isaac] became great and gained more and more until he became very wealthy and extremely distinguished;”

Finances is a great place to make room for The Holy Spirit, thus Jesus. Anyone can give when the bank account is fat. How many times have we heard “when I get rich I’m going to…?” . Yet so much misery has followed folks who won fortunes overnight without growing into prosperity. Remember the Lord said to the little widow woman gave more than any of the big donors in Mark 12:41-44, because she gave out of her need and not abundance.

Also give of your time, plant seeds in your day to do something or help someone else.

Is 52:7 says “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation;”

Always remember, If I help someone else obtain or build room for their vision, God will help me build or manifest room in the reality of my life with and for my vision!

Isaiah 58:12  “And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.”

In order to help restore yourself and others, one must make room for the Lord in their life. You can’t heal, while broken or bitter. Yet Gods desire, in the holy scriptures, is to restore you, heal you and deliver you, so you can do the same for others. This takes time, effort and making room. Zechariah 2:8 Amplified “For thus says the Lord of hosts, “After [a]glory He has sent Me against the nations which plunder you—for he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.”

When we take care of God’s business, He takes care of ours! He watches over His children, watches over our finances, watches and protects our backs.  You can’t lead from behind!

The End-Time Church will be protected by the Glory of God if we are in the pipeline of supply expanding the Kingdom of God. Check your heart’s motifs and don’t allow, selfishness, greed or carnal decisions to give you a back seat in the divine plan for your life. Make room for the Lord now. Say this quick prayer: “Lord I ask you to align my life, by removing or adding anybody, anything that would distract or put me in the back seat of your will. My decisions today will allow your Holy Spirit and Will to, Divinely align my family and myself to a fresh purpose and power today. Devil you will not distract me through temptations, trials or torture in my mind, body or spirit. Amen!”

3) Persistence wears down Resistance

Gen 26:22 “He moved away from there and dug another well(3rd well) , and they did not quarrel over that one; so he named it Rehoboth (broad places), saying, “For now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be prosperous in the land.”

Heard the saying “it’s not how many times you get knocked down, but how many you get up“?  Well it’s time for the Bride, the Remnant, God’s people to stand up and be accounted for and live it. Blow up or grow up Ha.

As we give our failures to the Lord, healing comes to our souls without props like drugs, sex and rock ‘n roll.  As transformation of our Soul or healing takes places, bitterness, sadness, anxiety and excuses goes.

When life knocks you down “Dig another well and make room for Jesus in a deeper area of your soul”. When the Devil steals your cookie or jar, “Dig another well”. When excuses cause you to over eat, get distracted, take some flesh out “Dig another well”.

Business issue or problem, put more work on the books and “Dig another well” and by dying to self and make room for Jesus in a deeper area of your soul”

4) Sing a song (Praise works)

Ex 15:1 “THEN MOSES and the Israelites sang this song to the Lord, saying, I will sing to the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider or its chariot has He thrown into the sea.”

In order to lead you in, God has to lead or take you or the Egypt (old way of doing things your way) out of you. In order to make new room in your soul for the Lord and a fresh anointing, you have to want to leave the comfort or tradition (Mark 7:13) of the way you’ve been taking care of things before. Nobody likes change when our comfort zone is exposed, cramped or effected. We want to see miracles. We want Wonders, but fall short in, before, during and after battle sometimes. George Patton a WW2 General said “I don’t like buying the same real estate twice”. If you came 90% through a difficult season or situation, it doesn’t make sense to give up at the last moment.  Just before the breakthrough, do not falter, sway or fail but Stay the Course! and sing:

Exodus 15: 11 Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, awesome in splendor, doing wonders?

5) If He can get it through you, He will get it to you

Is 54:2 Amplified “Enlarge the site of your tent [to make room for more children]; Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, do not spare them; Lengthen your tent ropes And make your pegs (stakes) firm [in the ground].”

Prosperity is natural, favor is natural to the children of God who expand the Kingdom of God and create room for Jesus in the midst of the average day. Every day, we have opportunities to press in and pray. Weakness or problems normally come at an inconvenient time? So learn the Devils timing and realize when frustration starts building, that you can seize the moment and die to self. Give God that weakness or issue right there and then through a quick prayer and see li’l by li’l, Great Grace transform the irritating areas of your personality. Everlasting change comes through exchanging soulish and carnal areas of your soul through prayer for a renewed, transformed inner man. It’s amazing, Grace in action, prayer by prayer, moment by moment. While others falter, fail or just buck up and pretend God is not a Spirit, you my friend are growing your Spiritual man up stronger and stronger. This is how deep soul peace comes.

So how do we expand the Kingdom of God? We can do this by witnessing and sharing the Love of Jesus at inconvenient times in our schedule, as shining examples of Discipleship. Delivery or presentation is a huge part of sharing the Gospel. People are drawn to success. Peace comes through strength. “Heard dress for success”? Well dress your spiritual life up by being Prayed up and full of a fresh Word from the Lord. Make room in your mornings to connect with Heaven and watch supernatural opportunities open up to witness to someone in need, latter in your day. Psalm 16:5-6 Amplified The Lord is the portion of my inheritance, my cup [He is all I need];You support my lot. The [boundary] lines [of the land] have fallen for me in pleasant places; Indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me.”

When we create room for God, our cups become full. Your “want list” becomes smaller as your need for Him increases. Peace and contentment comes upon the Christian’s home, life, property etc when we are not envious or jealous of our neighbor possessions. So pray “Lord reveal my portion and my boundaries today. Teach me to say no to any ideas or business deals that are not of you and yes to your Divine Will today Amen!”

6) Success can bringing Apathy

Proverbs 18:16 says, “A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.”

I have seen many Christians Passion, fire and relationship with the Lord and the Body of Christ, go cold spiritually, after success or ” the cares of the world” take root. In some cases worldly entanglements take over. “It’s one thing to own things and another to allow things to own you” so goes the saying. Historically whether it was the children of Israel, or Modern day Christians, poverty, pestilence, persecution cause us to pray and press in. Fame, Success, Fortune cause us to become spiritually lethargic.

So when your Gift, Talent Or Ability causes you to become famous, successful or fortunate: put your ego in check. Tell Pride to step aside and thus, continue to give Glory to God and Make room for him every day!

7) Religion versus Relationship/Intimacy

Allow at certain times in a Church service for people to wait on the Lord, don’t get nervous and fill it when it gets quiet. Create a Space of Grace.

Which of these sayings applies best for you?

“Mornings are better when I talk with God first.”

“I Pray, not because I need something, but because I have so much to be thankful for”

“The sweetest time of the day is when I pray. Why? Because I’m talking with the one who loves me the most.”

Story: Some old preachers would leave a chair open for God

The Empty Chair

“No. I was not expecting you,” said Bob. “Who are you?”.

“I’m the new minister at your church,” he replied. “When I saw the empty chair, I figured you knew I was going to show up.”

“Oh yeah, the chair,” said the bedridden man. “Would you mind closing the door?”

Puzzled, Pastor James shut the door.

“I have never told anyone this, not even my daughter,” said the man. “But all of my life I have never known how to pray. At church I used to hear the pastor talk about prayer, but it went right over my head. I abandoned any attempt at prayer,” the old man continued, “until one day about four years ago my best friend said to me, ‘Bob, prayer is just a simple matter of having a conversation with Jesus.’

‘Here is what I suggest. Sit down in a chair; place an empty chair in front of you, and in faith see Jesus on the chair. It’s not spooky because he promised, ‘I’ll be with you always.’ Then just speak to him and listen in the same way you’re doing with me right now.’

So, I tried it and I’ve liked it so much that I do it a couple of hours every day. I’m careful though. If my daughter saw me talking to an empty chair she’d either have a nervous breakdown or send me off to the funny farm.”

James was deeply moved by the story and encouraged the old guy to continue on the journey. Then he prayed with Bob, anointed him with oil, and returned to the church.

Two nights later the daughter called to tell the pastor that her daddy had died that afternoon.

“Did he die in peace?” he asked.

“Yes, when I left the house about two o’clock, he called me over to his bedside, told me he loved me and kissed me on the cheek. When I got back from the store an hour later I found him dead. But there was something strange about his death. Apparently, just before Daddy died, he leaned over and rested his head on the chair beside the bed. What do you make of that?”

Pastor James wiped a tear from his eye and said, “I wish we all could go like that.”
